The Iranian military discovered the GBU-39 SDB (Small Diameter Bomb) precision-guided bomb lost by the United States on its territory. Details are provided by the publication "RG".
Sources in Iran confirm that the bomb did not reach the target. There may be several reasons for this — either some kind of malfunction, or the effect of Tehran's electronic warfare equipment.
"Getting almost a whole copy of such a bomb is a great success for the Iranians, who will definitely carefully study this sample," the publication says.
This type of bomb, experts say, combines a small mass with high accuracy, which affects the number of targets hit in one flight.
