US President Donald Trump said that the United States and Iran have agreed on a two-week cease-fire, he wrote about it on the Truth Social network.

"Following conversations with Pakistani Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif and Field Marshal Asim Munir... I agree to suspend the bombing and attack on Iran for a period of two weeks. It will be a bilateral ceasefire," Trump said.

According to him, Iran has also agreed to guarantee the safety of navigation in The Strait of Hormuz.

The United States, according to Trump, has received a 10-point proposal from Iran that can serve as a working basis for negotiations.

"Almost all the various points of previous disagreements between the United States and Iran have already been agreed, but a two—week period will allow the agreement to be finalized and formalized," he added.
