US President Donald Trump interrupted a conversation with a PBS journalist after being asked if he regretted his recent threat to destroy Iranian civilization. This was reported by interviewer Liz Sanders on the social network X.
"I tried to ask if he regretted that post on Truth Social about the destruction of civilization, and noted that this statement provoked harsh criticism from the Democrats, after which he hung up," the journalist wrote.
As EADaily reported, on the eve of Trump, who issued an ultimatum to Iran to open the Strait of Hormuz, stressed that Iranian civilization could irrevocably cease to exist that night. However, at night, Trump announced that he had reached an agreement with Iran on a two-week cease-fire.
