During a press conference after the launch, NASA head Jared Isaacman confirmed that there was a "short-term communication problem on the ship when the crew on the Ground could not hear the crew."

According to him, this problem has already been solved, and the crew is "safe and in a great mood." The communication disruption most likely occurred during the signal switching from one transmitter to another, he noted, adding that "it was not a particular problem, the interruption lasted several minutes."

In addition, there was a problem on board the ship with the inclusion of a "waste management system", that is, a space toilet.

"We have a problem with the control of the toilet, it will take us a couple of hours to troubleshoot," said the head of NASA.

According to him, there was also a problem with the valve of the water tank, which turned out to be closed.

NASA Deputy Head Amit Kshatriya said that before the launch of the SLS rocket with the Orion spacecraft, there was a problem with the operation of the emergency shutdown system equipment. According to her, this led to a ten-minute delay in the launch, but the NASA team "reacted quickly and switched to equipment from the previous space shuttle program," Interfax said.
