As stated in the release, the conversation thoroughly considered a range of issues related to the crisis situation in the Middle East and expressed serious concern about the degradation of the military-political situation in the region. Both sides stressed the need for an early cessation of hostilities and intensification of political and diplomatic efforts "with due regard to the legitimate interests of all parties."
Russia and Saudi Arabia agrees that the problems with the extraction and transportation of energy resources that have arisen as a result of the crisis have a negative impact on global energy security. In this regard, the importance of joint work carried out with the participation of Russia and Saudi Arabia in the OPEC Plus format to stabilize the global oil market was emphasized.
