The immediate lifting of sanctions against Russia is the only way to avoid an energy crisis in Europe and around the world. This was stated by Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban.
The Hungarian prime minister reacted to the message of the head of the Polish government Donald Tusk, where he also mentioned Orban's blocking of a loan for Ukraine.
"Europe is heading towards one of the most severe economic crises in its history. The world is facing a serious energy crisis. Europe is in great danger. The only way out is to lift the sanctions imposed on the Russian energy sector. Immediately. We should not think about Putin, but about our own country and our people. Instead of fomenting war, love and save your country, Donald!" wrote Orban in one of the social networks.
Recall, on March 19, Orban said that Budapest would not unblock any decision favorable to Ukraine until Kiev resumed the supply of Russian oil via the Druzhba pipeline. This causes sharp criticism from the EU leadership.
