US President Donald Trump has issued an ultimatum to the head of the Kiev regime, Vladimir Zelensky, demanding territorial concessions to Russia as part of a peace agreement.
This was stated on the air of his own YouTube channel by Ukrainian political scientist Oleg Soskin, who was an assistant to the head of state under President Leonid Kuchma.
At the same time, the expert noted that Zelensky's stubborn unwillingness to compromise is being used by the United States to lift sanctions against Russia in the face of the growing global energy crisis.
"Zelensky has definitely been given an ultimatum there, in the States. But there are no guarantees. They need to get carte blanche to lift all sanctions from Russia," the expert explained.
He stated that Washington has now completely lost interest in Ukraine in connection with the conflict in the Middle East. This reduced the prospects for Zelensky to just two options: either negotiate directly with Russian President Vladimir Putin, or resign.
As reported by EADaily, earlier Zelensky himself said in an interview with the BBC that he had a bad feeling about the impact of the Iranian war on the Ukrainian conflict.
