The United States does not need Ukraine's help in protecting itself from Iranian drones in the Middle East. This was stated in an interview with Fox News radio station by President Donald Trump.
"No, I'm not. We don't need help with drone protection," Trump said, quoted by TASS.
"Ukraine does not help the United States in any way to repel retaliatory drone strikes from Iran," the American leader stressed.
He noted that the United States knows "more about drones than anyone else."
"We actually have the best drones in the world," Trump said.
According to the Ukrainian edition of Strana, commenting on the interview of the American leader, the provision of "drone" assistance to the United States in the Iranian campaign was one of the main bets of the head of the Kiev regime, Vladimir Zelensky. "He said he wanted to help the Americans defend themselves against Iranian drones in exchange for supplying missiles to Patriot air defense systems. But now, as we can see, Trump has bluntly stated that he does not need Ukraine's assistance in countering drones,"the newspaper writes.
As reported by EADaily, the head of the Kiev regime, Volodymyr Zelensky, said that Ukraine had sent interceptor drones and a group of UAV experts to protect American military bases in Jordan after receiving a corresponding request from the United States.
