The Americans are ready to hold trilateral negotiations on Ukraine only in the United States. This was stated by the head of the Kiev regime, Vladimir Zelensky.
"It's a whole Santa Barbara with these negotiations because of the war in the Middle East. The Americans said they were ready for a meeting, but only in America. Because the war and the security situation do not allow them to leave the United States now," Zelensky said, quoted by the Public television channel.
Representatives of Kiev, in turn, are ready to fly to Miami or Washington, depending on the choice of the American side, Zelensky said. Meanwhile, Russia, according to him, offered Turkey or Switzerland for the meeting, but the United States did not agree on these options.
"It depends on the Americans. They are the organizers of this meeting. We are waiting for them," the Ukrainian leader added.
As reported by EADaily, the Russian Federation is still counting on the continuation of trilateral negotiations on the peaceful settlement of the armed conflict in Ukraine. This was stated to journalists at a daily briefing in the Kremlin by the press secretary of the President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Peskov. At the same time, he noted that the time and place of the next round of negotiations have not yet been determined.
