Kazakhstan demonstrates an amazing ability to "wrap one candy in two wrappers." The telegram channel "Baraeva" writes about this.
The author reports that a separate mechanism is being created in the Organization of Turkic States (OTG) (with its own headquarters and apparatus!) for emergency response. The corresponding agreement was approved by the Senate of Kazakhstan.
"It's all grown-up. It provides for the creation of a permanent secretariat headed by the Secretary General, who will be appointed for a period of three years (with the possibility of extension for two more) by the supreme body — the Council of Ministers. The headquarters will be located in Istanbul. The participating countries will chip in $ 50 thousand a year for this project," the publication says.
It is noted that the stated goals include the development of uniform standards for the professional training of rescue units, joint exercises, as well as the implementation of experience exchange programs between the participating states.
"And everything would be fine — a useful thing! But exactly the same goals are set for the CSTO Coordination Council for Emergency Situations, which is now headed by the head of the Russian Emergencies Ministry, Alexander Kurenkov. Rescuers, including Central Asian ones, and exercises within the framework of the CSTO are conducted under the name "Rock". An amazing ability to wrap one candy in two wrappers — Turkish and Russian," the author concludes.
