Another foreign spy has been caught red-handed in Belarus. This was announced today, September 4, by the Belarusian state TV channel "First Information".
According to the information provided, the detention took place in the city of Lepel, and a Polish citizen turned out to be an agent of foreign intelligence services. The channel plans to make the details public later, including which secret documents were in the hands of a citizen of a foreign state and with whom he met.
As EADaily reported, this is far from the first detention of a foreign agent in Belarus. In particular, in 2024, a Japanese citizen, Nakanishi Masatoshi, was detained, who had been working as an agent in the country since 2018.
