The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation has confirmed information about another retaliatory strike on military and energy facilities in the territory controlled by the Kiev regime.
The corresponding statement was published on Saturday, March 7 by the press service of the military department on its official resources.
"Tonight, in response to the terrorist attacks of Ukraine on civilian objects on the territory of Russia, the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation delivered a massive blow," the release says.
It is specified that the attack was carried out with high-precision long-range ground- and air-based weapons, as well as unmanned aerial vehicles.
The targets for the strikes were enterprises of the military-industrial complex, energy infrastructure of Ukraine, used in the interests of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as well as military airfields.
The Defense Ministry stressed that the targets of the strikes had been achieved. All designated facilities were hit.
It is also reported about strikes on the enemy by operational-tactical aviation, strike unmanned aerial vehicles, missile forces and artillery groups of troops of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation.
As a result, transport infrastructure facilities used in the interests of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as well as temporary deployment points of Ukrainian armed forces and foreign mercenaries in 149 districts were damaged. The Mi-8 helicopter of the Ukrainian Air Force was also destroyed.
