Another question is the rationality of such a strike — the aggravation of the situation with the Azerbaijanis is now extremely unprofitable, given Baku's appetites for the Iranian northwest. The predictable hysteria has already begun in the media that "the Iranian regime has shown its true essence," and the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry said that the attack would not go unanswered.
