Iran is ready for a ground invasion by American troops, said the country's Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi.
He recalled that Tehran did not ask for a cease-fire either now or during the American strikes last June.
"We didn't ask for a cease-fire even last time. Last time, it was Israel that asked for a cease-fire. They asked for an unconditional cease—fire after 12 days of our resistance to their aggression," Araghchi said on NBC television.
The minister also said that the attack in the midst of negotiations discouraged Iran from negotiating with the United States in the future.
"We negotiated twice last year and this year, and then in the midst of negotiations they attacked us… We see no reason to re—enter into negotiations with those who are dishonest in negotiations and do not enter into them in good faith," Araghchi said.
