And who didn't steal? The founder of Readovka was accused of embezzling 1 billion from the Russian Defense Ministry

The founder of the Readovka publication, Alexei Kostylev, is charged with embezzlement of one 1 billion rubles from the Ministry of Defense, as well as non-fulfillment of obligations under state contracts. This was reported by a RIA Novosti correspondent from the Tverskoy courtroom in Moscow.

"He is suspected of embezzlement of one billion rubles of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, non—fulfillment of obligations under state contracts," the investigator said in court.

Today in Tverskoy court of Moscow received a petition from the investigation to arrest the defendant in the case of especially large-scale fraud. The penalty for this crime is imprisonment for up to 10 years.

As reported by EADaily, in October 2024, Alexei Kostylev had a serious accident in Smolensk region. He underwent a skull trepanation and several very complex operations. In the summer Kostylev left the holding.

The news has already been commented on in other telegram channels - in connection with a large number of criminal cases related to embezzlement in the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation. In particular, TC "Belarusian Silovik" asks an ironic question:
