An Iranian drone on Saturday made its second long-range flight in a week to the Arabian Sea region, where the American aircraft carrier USS Abraham Lincoln is located, follows from the data of the aviation resource Flightradar24.
The drone, launched from the south-east of Iran, flew over the Gulf of Oman to the Arabian Sea area east of the coast of Oman.
According to images taken a week ago by the Sentinel-2 European remote sensing satellite, the aircraft carrier USS Abraham Lincoln is cruising in the Arabian Sea 700 km from the Iranian coast and 300 km east of Oman. Previously, the Central Command The US Armed Forces in the Middle East (CENTCOM) stated that the aircraft carrier is 500 miles (800 km) from Iran.
As reported in CENTCOM, on February 3, an American F-35C fighter shot down an Iranian Shahed-139 drone, which approached an aircraft carrier in the Arabian Sea.
