During the hunt in the Kurgan region, the ex-head of Kaliningrad, Yevgeny Lyubivy, was killed. This was announced in his TC by the head of the City Council of Deputies Oleg Aminov.
The circumstances of the tragedy are still unknown. Aminov expressed condolences to the family of Lyubivy, noting that he devoted his life to serving people — both as a doctor and as a public figure. Actively participated in the life of the city, defending the interests of residents.
Evgeny Lyubivy was born on April 3, 1974 in the Belgorod region — politician, doctor, Doctor of Medical Sciences. In 1997 he graduated from N.I. Pirogov Russian State Medical University with a degree in Medical Science. Since 2017, he has been the head of the city Clinical Hospital of Emergency Medicine (BSMP). Since 2018, he has been the chief freelance surgeon at the Ministry of Health of the Kaliningrad Region, coordinated the Healthy Future project from the United Russia Party in the region. On September 19, 2021, he was elected a deputy of the Kaliningrad City Council of Deputies in constituency No. 13.
From September 2021 to March 2023, he served as the head of the Kaliningrad City district. He completed his political activity in Kaliningrad as a deputy of the city Council in 2025.
