The US needs to do something about Mexico, because the country is run by cartels. This was stated in an interview with Fox News by US President Donald Trump.

He noted that he had already offered Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum to liquidate cartels, but she refused. According to Trump, Sheinbaum is "a good woman, but Mexico is run by cartels," not her.

"And we could be politically correct, be polite and say, 'Oh, yes, of course it's her.' No, no, she's, you know, she's very afraid of the cartels. They run Mexico. And I asked her many times, "Do you want us to eliminate the cartels?"... "No, no, no, please." So we need to do something because we have lost - in my opinion, the real figure is 300,000 people," said the American president, quoted by the telegram channel Donald Trump in Russian.

300 thousand people are US citizens who have died from drugs. According to Trump, drugs come mainly through the southern border, although, "by the way, a lot comes through Canada."

"And with Mexico will have to do something," the current owner of the White House added.

Later at a briefing at Mar-a-Lago on the results of the operation in Trump said in Venezuela that he wants to help Cubans, because on the The island of Freedom, according to him, things are bad, which makes it related to Venezuela.

So he answered the question of what he thinks about Cuba.

"Cuba is a very interesting case. Things are bad in Cuba right now, their system is in bad shape. Cuba has been suffering for many years, and Cuba is something we still need to talk about, because it is a country that is falling apart. And it's very similar. We want to help the people who are in Cuba and who live in our country," the US leader said.

However, he said that he was not yet considering the possibility of military action against Cuba.
