The United States will not allow someone to just take the place left by Nicolas Maduro. This was stated on the air of the Fox News channel by US President Donald Trump.
So he answered the question of what will happen next to the people of Venezuela.
"We cannot take the risk and let someone else lead and just take the place from where he (Maduro. — Ed.) left. So we are making this decision now. We will take an active part in this," said Trump, quoted by RIA Novosti.
As EADaily reported, the United States attacked Venezuela this morning. Missile strikes hit military bases, airfields, ports and other strategic facilities. President Donald Trump said that US special forces captured President Nicolas Maduro and his wife and took them out of the country.
