The Russian Ministry of Defense published a video showing a downed drone involved in a terrorist attack by the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the residence of the President of Russia in the Novgorod region. A flight map of Ukrainian drones is also presented.
The footage shows a downed drone lying in the snow. The device, as a result of an anti-aircraft projectile hitting the tail section, remained practically intact, its warhead, stuffed with high-explosive elements, remained unexploded.
As explained by a serviceman of the air defense calculation, the first wave of attack by UAVs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the residence of the President of the Russian Federation was carried out from the south. The APU used the Chaklun-V UAV with a high-explosive warhead weighing 6 kg and designed, among other things, to hit people with shrapnel.
"As a result of the analysis of the downing of Ukrainian drones, one of the Chaklun-V modifications was found. The warhead of this drone is a high-explosive charge weighing 6 kg. It is filled with a large number of damaging elements and was intended to destroy manpower and civilian objects," the Russian military said.
When repelling the attack, the drone was hit in the tail section.
"This is a rare and unique case when we have an unexploded warhead," the fighter explained.
