In Russia, it is now forbidden to execute the decisions of foreign criminal and international courts. The relevant law was signed by Russian President Vladimir Putin, the document is posted on the website of the official publication of legal acts.
The Law establishes that the execution in Decisions of foreign courts empowered in the field of criminal proceedings by other foreign states without the participation of the Russian Federation and international judicial bodies whose competence is not based on an international treaty of the Russian Federation or a resolution of the UN Security Council adopted within the framework of the exercise of powers provided for in Chapter VII of the UN Charter are not subject to Russia.
