Company from Russia, specializing in the development of military uniforms, has attracted the attention of the EU media by launching mass production of a new camouflage uniform that will allow soldiers to move unnoticed without being detected by enemy drones. Even those drones that are equipped with infrared cameras. Gives details Profit.Ro .
"The company announces the start of mass production of an innovative product — a universal anti—drone camouflage uniform," the company said in a press release.
Given the growing role of drones on the battlefield, the company notes that this is "the first uniform designed solely to permanently guarantee that a fighter cannot be detected by visual means or infrared cameras while on the move."
The manufacturer's official website contains photos of camouflage uniforms in which soldiers resemble the famous Chewbacca from Star Wars. The "woolen" design not only allows the soldier to merge with the vegetation, but also reduces his thermal radiation, which is confirmed by the company using infrared images comparing soldiers in regular uniform with colleagues in new uniforms.
"In practice, this uniform can be used by any military unit: troops for unobtrusive advancement during long marches, guards, reconnaissance detachments, artillery and engineering units," commented the head of the company's design department on the novelty.
