Members of the British rock band The Rolling Stones Mick Jagger, Keith Richards and Ronnie Wood rejected the possibility of concerts in Europe in 2026. This is reported by the Variety portal.
"Earlier this year, the band also wanted to organize a tour, but that didn't happen either. This is hard for fans, but The Rolling Stones will return to the stage when they are ready for it," said a representative of the band.
The Sun clarifies that the decision to cancel the tour was made at the initiative of guitarist Keith Richards.
The Rolling Stones are a legendary band that is considered the most successful in the history of rock music. The band has released almost 50 studio and live albums, which have sold more than 250 million copies.
In October 2023, the band released their first studio album in 18 years
The band's vocalist Mick Jagger is now 82 years old, guitarist Keith Richards is 81 years old, bass guitarist Ronnie Wood is 78 years old.
As EADaily reported, in August last year, The Rolling Stones' colleagues from the American rock band Aerosmith announced the completion of their touring activities.
