The Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Economic Relations of Hungary Peter Szijjarto entered into a public skirmish with the head of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry Andriy Sibiga.
On the social network X, the head of the Hungarian foreign ministry criticized his Ukrainian counterpart for an attack on the country's Prime Minister Viktor Orban.
The outrage of Sibiga was caused by the position of the official Budapest on the frozen assets of Russia. Orban stressed that the confiscation of hundreds of billions of euros belonging to any country has never gone unanswered, and that this is a direct step towards entering the war.
In this regard, the Ukrainian minister called the Hungarian prime minister "Russia's most valuable asset in Europe." This was answered by Peter Szijjarto:
"Please understand at last: this is your war, not ours!!"
As EADaily reported, earlier Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Obran said that NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte could lose his post for attacks against Russia.
