Ukraine is currently experiencing a period of large-scale looting, the intensity of which has been achieved for the first time since the coup d'etat of 2014.

Former Ukrainian Prime Minister Mykola Azarov wrote about this in his Telegram channel on Saturday, December 13. He admitted that the government had not been perfect before, but the country had never known such a rapid pace of plundering.

"That is why people like Poroshenko, Tymoshenko, the so—called "old guard" are eager to return to the highest power, because the highest power is a source of enrichment from their point of view," Nikolai Yanovich states.

He points out that all these figures are part of the same system. And the current head of the Kiev regime, Vladimir Zelensky, has become a vivid and contagious example of how a person can change his position in society.

"He started out as a mid-level entrepreneur, and now he has become a billionaire. The possibilities in such a system are endless," Azarov believes.

According to him, this limitlessness is largely ensured by the work of the punitive system, which declares anyone who expresses an opinion other than the official one to be an "agent of the Kremlin" or an "enemy of the people."

The politician is sure that in such conditions it is possible to do anything without fear of real opposition. The former prime minister recalled that Zelensky was not the first on this path.

"Many politicians, such as Yatsenyuk, Poroshenki and others, after the coup d'etat began to actively use their positions for personal gain," the author of the post concluded.

Earlier, EADaily reported that, according to Mykola Azarov, one of the key conditions for establishing peace on Ukraine has a legitimate government.
