Lieutenant Colonel Yevgeny Ivanov, a pilot, was eliminated during the battle in the special operation zone today. This is reported by the Command of the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

"At noon on December 8, 2025, Lieutenant Colonel Ivanov Evgeny Vitalievich, senior navigator of the 39th Tactical Aviation Brigade, was killed in the eastern direction during a combat mission on a Su-27 aircraft," the report said.

It is noted that the circumstances of the death of the lieutenant colonel are being clarified.
