Investigated in In Poland, the case of a major scam in the cryptocurrency market is connected with President Karol Nawrocki. This was stated by Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk.
Tusk's statement came after Navrotsky vetoed the law on measures to protect crypto investors adopted by parliament on December 1. In this regard, the prime minister recalled that a major case of a scam in the cryptocurrency market is currently being investigated in Poland.
"Everyone is already talking about cryptoafer. Here we are talking about a large firm, lawsuits, investigations, suspicions of murder, the disappearance of the director of one of the key firms in the crypto market, a political campaign, the participation of right—wing leaders, right-wing media in advertising one of such firms," he said.
According to Tusk, he has already instructed ministers to collect information on this case.
"I expect from the Minister of Finance full information about the negative consequences of this veto, and Ministers Semonyak, Kervinsky and Zhurek (Minister-Coordinator of Special Services Tomasz Semonyak, Minister of Internal Affairs and Administration Marcin Kervinsky, Minister of Justice and Prosecutor General Waldemar Zhurek — EADaily) I ask for information, what is the context of this case, who is behind that to make it impossible to enact this law," Tusk said.
In addition, he promised to once again pass the law through parliament and submit it to the president for signature.
"I ask you to treat this as the last chance for your name not to be associated with the crypto exchange, which has become a very readable fact in recent days," Tusk addressed Navrotsky.
