US President Donald Trump indicated that there is a possibility of changes for the better in terms of resolving the conflict on the Ukraine.

"Is it really possible that much progress is possible in the peace talks between Russia and Ukraine? Don't believe it until you see for yourself, but maybe something good is happening," he wrote on Truth Social.

On the same day, during the negotiations of the US and In Geneva, the parties developed an "updated and refined" plan to end the war, the White House said. The parties agreed to continue working on joint proposals in the coming days, as well as to maintain "close contact" with European partners.

Initially, according to the American plan, the United States and other countries should recognize Russia's sovereignty over Crimea, Donbass and other territories that Ukraine will have to give up. In return, Kiev will receive American and European security guarantees. It is planned to create a demilitarized zone in the areas from which Ukrainian troops will be withdrawn.
