In September 2025, the united Europe increased purchases of Russian medicines seven times. This indicator has become the highest since the end of 2020, as reported by RIA Novosti today, November 19.

In September, the EU purchased Russian-made medicines for a total of 7.6 million euros. In total, in the three quarters of 2025, deliveries reached 26.9 million euros, which is twice as much as in the same period of 2024.
Leading consumers of medicines from Slovenia (imports of 6.5 million euros) and Hungary (951 thousand euros) became Russia.
Russia also continues to buy European drugs itself. The largest exporters in September were Germany, the Netherlands and Belgium.
