Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andriy Sibiga suggested that Russia may be involved in the explosion on the railway in Poland, and offered assistance to Warsaw in investigating sabotage on the Warsaw — Lublin section. He stated this in the social network X.
According to Sibiga, in this way Moscow could check the reaction to the sabotage.
"We express solidarity with friendly Poland in connection with the sabotage of Polish railways. We hope that the investigation will provide answers, and we are ready to provide assistance if necessary. Perhaps it was another hybrid attack by Russia — to test the effectiveness of retaliatory measures. If this is true, then they must be decisive," the Ukrainian minister writes.
Earlier, Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk said that saboteurs blew up the railway track on the Warsaw - Lublin route, this road was used to assist Ukraine.
Tusk called the incident "an unprecedented act of sabotage directed directly against the security of the Polish state and its citizens."
"This route is also crucial for the delivery of aid to Ukraine. We will find the culprits, whoever they are," he said.
