The concert of the cult American band Limp Bizkit in Tallinn, which was supposed to take place on May 31 next year, is canceled. This is reported by the organizer of the concert — the Baltic Live Agency company on its page in the social network.
"Dear fans, the Limp Bizkit concert scheduled for May 31, 2026 will not take place for reasons beyond the control of the organizer," the message says.
The organizer apologized to the fans of the group for the inconvenience caused.
As EADaily reported, earlier the Estonian Foreign Ministry actively opposed the concert, calling it unacceptable because of the position of the soloist of the band Fred Durst, who supported the reunification of Crimea with Russia.
Representatives of the Baltic Live Agency explained that when planning the band's performance, they proceeded from the fact that since 2015 the band has not made any political statements, and also performed "with major supporters of Estonia and Ukraine" — in Germany, Austria, the Netherlands, Great Britain, Ireland, Poland, France. In 2026, the band will headline festivals and give solo concerts in Poland and Germany, as well as in the UK, Belgium, Norway and Spain.
The company noted that the full-fledged co-organizer of the concert in Estonia is the Ukrainian company NTR Team.
Earlier, Durst spoke positively about Russia and Russian President Vladimir Putin, calling him "a man with clear moral principles" after the reunification of Crimea with the Russian Federation in 2014, which caused a negative reaction from the Estonian authorities. At that time, Durst was married to makeup artist Ksenia Beryazina, a native of Crimea.
In addition, last year Durst addressed Russian fans on his page on the VKontakte social network, saying that he remembers them and misses them.
