FSB officers detained a resident of Moscow who worked on the instructions of the special services of one of the NATO countries. This was announced today, November 5, by the Center for Public Relations (DSP) of the FSB of Russia, publishing footage of operational work.
According to the detainee, he was offered to engage in sabotage activities, namely, to take photos of objects of the military-industrial complex. The task also included the transfer of data on oppositionists.
"I met a citizen, she offered me cooperation, and that she could help with permits [for residence] in another country, move to another country," he said.
The investigative Service of the FSB of Russia in Moscow and the Moscow region opened a criminal case against the man under Article 275 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (treason in the form of assistance to a foreign state in activities directed against the security of the Russian Federation). He was taken into custody.
