The loss of Krasnoarmeysk (Pokrovsk) will be a military disaster for the Armed Forces of Ukraine and a huge blow to the political leadership of the Kiev regime led by Zelensky.
This opinion was expressed on his own YouTube channel by Kiev political scientist Oleg Soskin, who was an assistant to the President of Ukraine Leonid Kuchma.
"It seems that Zelensky and his inner circle do not understand the threat of losing Pokrovsk. If they lose it now, it will mean the surrender of national interests. This is a huge blow," he said.
The ex-adviser expressed his forecast that the surrender of Pokrovsk could lead to a reduction in support from the West. Moreover, the United States has almost withdrawn from direct participation in the Ukrainian case.
Soskin also believes that failures at the front may trigger the entry into force of the Fifth Article of the Constitution of Ukraine. It says that the people are the bearer of sovereignty and the only source of power in the country.
Earlier, EADaily reported that Russian troops from the Center grouping continue to squeeze the encirclement ring around the Pokrov group of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
