The Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) has charged People's Artist of the Russian Federation Philip Kirkorov in absentia for "repeated violations of the entry procedure" into the country. This is reported by the office of the Ukrainian Prosecutor General.
In particular, it is indicated that Kirkorov regularly participated in events on the territory of Crimea and Donbass. So, in 2022, the artist performed at a military hospital in Feodosia, where he publicly supported the Russian military. In 2024, Kirkorov visited a hospital in Gorlovka (DPR), delivering humanitarian aid to the wounded soldiers and singing several of his songs, TASS said.
As reported by EADaily, in September of this year, the SBU put Vyacheslav Fetisov, a deputy of the State Duma of the Russian Federation, a two-time Olympic hockey champion, on the wanted list. He was charged in absentia with "pidozra" (an analogue of the charge in Ukrainian procedural practice) under the article on "encroachment on the territorial integrity of Ukraine."
