The former commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), the current Ambassador of Ukraine to the UK Valery Zaluzhny believes that the armed conflict on the Ukraine has escalated into a "global war".
He shared his opinion in an article for the publication Ukrainska Pravda. According to Zaluzhny, in the fourth year of the Ukrainian conflict, there was a collapse of "ideas and theories on which the very idea of the world order was based."
The former Ukrainian general stated that in the current conditions, no country in the world is able to independently withstand the current level of intensity of hostilities.
Zaluzhny also spoke about the guarantees of the West to support Ukraine. In his opinion, these guarantees and promises are vague. The ex-commander-in-chief believes that they will still be implemented, but without specifying the scope and timing of assistance.
Earlier, EADaily reported that the former commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valery Zaluzhny, who is a British protege, is negotiating with the head of the Ukrainian military intelligence with Kirill Budanov ** on the creation of a unified political force.
