Russia in the current conditions considers it inappropriate to maintain obligations under the agreement with the United States on the disposal of plutonium, said Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov, speaking in the State Duma.
"In this situation, it just naturally suggests the completion of the process of terminating cooperation with the Americans within the framework of the agreement, even from a formal point of view. Maintaining any further obligations regarding plutonium, which is the subject of this agreement, is unacceptable and inexpedient from any point of view," the diplomat said, quoted by TASS.
