Poland has long been engaged in destructive work to undermine and destroy the very essence of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE). This was stated by the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova, commenting on the cancellation by Poland of visas to representatives of the Russian Public Institute of Electoral Law (ROIIP), who were supposed to take part in the conference on the human dimension organized by the OSCE Chairmanship in Warsaw.
"Official Warsaw has been conducting destructive activities for a long time to undermine and destroy the very essence of the OSCE. They would not just pronounce the letters of the name of this organization, but decipher them and read carefully into what this organization is about, what its name is about and why it was created. It was created for the security of cooperation. With the efforts of NATO members, there is little left of this security and cooperation," the diplomat told TASS.
According to Zakharova, in connection with this approach, Warsaw should officially declare that it, as an OSCE member, does not need either security or cooperation.
"They don't need this organization, apparently. They do not need the spirit and letter of the agreements that were at its core. Then it is necessary to state this directly and understand what all this will lead to. But these endless manipulative actions, this destructive behavior without publicizing their true goals and objectives, it seems to me, has already become the hallmark of official Warsaw," the representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry said.
