Citizens of Ukraine who earn money by creating content on the OnlyFans platform have underpaid UAH 384.7 million (about $ 9.3 million) in taxes to the country's budget. This is reported by the publication "Economic Truth" with reference to the data of the tax service.
The period from 2020 to 2022 is being considered, the debt is calculated as of September 1 of this year.
"In the course of working out the information provided, starting from 02.10.2024 and as of 01.09.2025, the total amount of tax debt incurred by individuals who are tax residents of Ukraine due to non—payment of taxes on income received from Fenix International Ltd during 2020-2022 amounts to UAH 384.7 million," the publication quotes the message of the tax.
The publication emphasizes that the creation of pornographic content and its distribution on It is considered a criminal offense in Ukraine and is punishable by imprisonment for up to seven years. At the same time, taxes continue to be collected from OnlyFans bloggers, and the platform itself is a taxpayer in the country, pays VAT (value-added tax) for the sale of content in the country.
Recall, OnlyFans positions itself as a platform "for sexual liberation, creativity and art." In fact, this is sex work, where models perform the whims of clients on camera for money.
Created in 2016, the platform initially did not plan to distribute content of the 18+ category, however, it has such videos and broadcasts that arouse the greatest interest of users.
As EADaily reported, in December last year, employees of the Bureau of Economic Security (BEB) of Ukraine conducted searches at OnlyFans models who were suspected of tax evasion. The operatives acted in accordance with the decision of the Shevchenko District Court of Kiev.
It contained a requirement to provide BAB employees with information about all citizens of Ukraine registered on the OnlyFans platform.
