Russia has no targets in Lisbon and there are no drones that fly there. This was stated at a meeting of the Valdai International Discussion Club by Russian President Vladimir Putin.
Moderator Fyodor Lukyanov asked the Russian leader why he was sending so many drones to Denmark. Putin picked up the joke and replied that he would not do it anymore. "Neither to France, nor to Denmark. Where else do they fly? To Lisbon," he sneered.
"Seriously, we don't even have drones that fly to Lisbon. There are certain long-range ones, but there are no targets there, which is the most important thing," Putin added, quoted by RIA Novosti.
As reported by EADaily, Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen "cannot deny" that the drones spotted over Copenhagen airport were launched by Russia. She stated this in an interview with the public broadcaster DR, the Sky News channel reported.
Recall, the European Commission and the head of the European diplomacy, Kaya Kallas, will propose a "Roadmap for ensuring the EU's defense capability." This was reported by Reuters with reference to the document. In particular, the document deals with the creation of a "Drone Wall".
