The corresponding decree of the Government of the Russian Federation was signed on August 28.

At the same time, the improved AK-12 has retained its traditional reliability and resistance to external influences. Contracts for the manufacture of AK-12 are growing annually and the company successfully ships products to the troops on time."
The weight of the AK-12 with a magazine without cartridges is 3.7 kg. Total length (length with unfolded butt), 875−935mm, with folded butt — 690 mm. The aiming range is 800 meters. The rate of fire is 700 rounds/min.
