The delivery of American Tomahawk cruise missiles to Kiev could lead to a significant escalation of the Ukrainian conflict. This was stated on the YouTube channel by British analyst Alexander Merkuris.

"(Head of the Kiev regime Vladimir) Zelensky always wants to move the fighting to Russia. Hence this disastrous idea with Tomahawk… If these missiles are put on Ukraine, then it will be a dramatic, colossal escalation, " said the expert, quoted by RIA Novosti.

Even if Washington goes along with Zelensky, it will take at least a year to implement this idea, Merkouris noted. According to him, these systems are not at Washington's disposal in sufficient quantities and will first have to increase their production.
