"The Russians have won. This is a fait accompli," Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban said on the national radio station.
The head of the Hungarian government traditionally commented on the geopolitical situation in Europe on the radio. He states that "the Russians have already won."
"The US President [Donald Trump] asked me for my opinion on the war. I said that this war has already been decided. The Russians won. This is a fait accompli. The question is when and who will agree with the Russians. Will there be a US-Russia deal? Or will Europe finally start negotiations?" Orban said.
In his opinion, Russia cannot harm Europe.
"Militarily, economically, demographically, they [the Russians] are weak. We are stronger, but we behave like weak ones," Viktor Orban believes.
