A group of Ukrainian Armed Forces militants surrendered in Kupyansk, Kharkiv region, according to Russian law enforcement agencies.
"In Kupyansk, under the pressure of our forces, Ukrainian soldiers surrendered," TASS noted there.
Among those who surrendered, mostly the mobilized recently transferred to this sector of the front. According to the security forces, they are surrendering along with NATO weapons.
Earlier, the Russian Defense Ministry reported that Russian troops had taken Kupyansk in a semicircle.

"Fighting continues in the urban development of Kupyansk in the northern part of the city."
"It is still very early for victorious relations, heavy battles are underway,— the "Two Majors" emphasized.
