After the speech of the US President, which exceeded the allotted time limit by four times, the participants of the General Assembly began to leave the hall en masse. The Chairman of the UN General Assembly, Annalena Berbok, had to call on the delegates who had risen from their chairs to take their seats, RIA Novosti reports.

Among the first to leave the building were King Philip VI of Spain, Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic, and Trump's wife Melania.

"Your Excellencies, please take your seats as a sign of respect for the next speaker," said Berbok, ringing the bell.

However, few people listened to her. Few people remained in the audience for the speech of Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto.

As EADaily reported, Donald Trump's speech at the 80th session of the UN General Assembly as a whole could be described as an unrestrained flow of boasting, threats and absurdities.
