The Finnish edition of Yle informs about the enormous expenses in the country in case of replacement of Russian-language geographical names on road signs.
According to the publication, several hundred road signs have been installed in Finland. They point directions to St. Petersburg and the cities of the Leningrad region, Murmansk, Kandalaksha, Kostomuksha and Sortavalu.
They have not yet been replaced, although such attitudes are quite developed in the country. According to the source, the authorities believe that the closure of the border with Russia is only a temporary measure.
EADaily previously published the material "In spite of the enemy, the ears froze off: the closure of the border with Russia hit Finland."
