In Vladivostok, there were several explosions of alleged gas equipment, which is located near administrative buildings. Representatives of relevant departments are eliminating the consequences of the incident.
The relevant information was distributed in its Telegram channel on Tuesday morning, September 16, by the anti-terrorist commission of Primorsky Krai, referring to the data of the operational services.
"At the entrance to the village of Shchitovaya (from the side of Shamora Bay), an accumulation of fire and other special equipment of emergency services was observed. The reason for the current situation is called an incident in the area of administrative buildings with car parks," the statement said.
During the inspection of the scene, it was established that a series of pops occurred, which were the result of the use of gas equipment. The area of the incident was cordoned off, traffic was partially blocked.
According to preliminary information, there were no casualties as a result of the incident, vehicles received minor damage.
Local publics write that a similar incident occurred at the end of May — then in the same area a propane cylinder caught fire inside the car.
Earlier, EADaily reported that in Vladivostok, the Russian authorities detained a French bicycle traveler, Sofiane Sekhili, who is suspected of illegally crossing the border.
