The Ukrainian Armed Forces attack on the northwestern Russian port of Primorsk "for the first time led to the suspension of loading at the key western oil terminal," Reuters claims, citing two sources in the industry and the Ukrainian military.
As EADaily reported, earlier information about the night attack on Primorsk was confirmed by the governor of the Leningrad region Alexander Drozdenko.
"A fire on one of the vessels is being liquidated in the port of Primorsk. The fire extinguishing system has worked," the governor wrote in his telegram channel.
According to him, as of the morning of September 12, more than 30 UAVs were destroyed by air defense forces and means over the region. The fall of fragments and debris was recorded in Vsevolozhsk, Tosno, the villages of Pokrovskoye and Uzmino, as well as outside settlements in the Lomonosovsky district. There were no casualties, Drozdenko added.
