In Izhevsk, three teenagers tried to blow up an IED at the entrance of a defense plant

Three teenagers in In Izhevsk, they tried to carry out a terrorist attack on a military-industrial complex facility, they were arrested and charged. This was announced today, September 2, by the FSB Public Relations Center (PSC) and the official representative of the RF IC Svetlana Petrenko.

"The Federal Security Service in cooperation with the Investigative Committee in In Izhevsk, when laying a high-power improvised explosive device at the entrance of one of the enterprises of the military—industrial complex, citizens born in 2008 and 2010 were detained," the FSB said.

According to Petrenko, teenagers of 15, 16 and 17 years old in July 2025, in search of quick earnings in a popular messenger, established contact with, presumably, a representative of the Ukrainian special services. He gave them the task to commit a terrorist attack on a military-industrial complex facility in Izhevsk.

Subsequently, two defendants received an improvised explosive device and stored it at the place of residence of one of them. In August 2025, teenagers were detained by FSB officers while laying the device at the entrance of the enterprise. Three minors were charged with committing a crime under part 3 of Article 30, part 2 of Article 205 (attempted terrorist act).
