In Poland, the news went almost unnoticed that the drone that crashed in the Polish Aspens had flown in from Ukraine.
For several days, Polish government officials, including Defense Minister Wladyslaw Kosiniak-Kamysh, trumpeted on all channels that the drone that crashed in Aspens on the border with Ukraine was Russian. However, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Poland admitted the opposite.
Deputy Foreign Minister Vladislav Theophil Bartoshevsky told the Republika TV channel:
"As far as I know, this is not the official version. We are waiting for the report. He flew in from the territory of Ukraine."
According to the Kresa portal, preliminary results suggest that the aircraft could have been civilian and used by smugglers.
