Russia provided Israel with intelligence during the 12-day war with Iran. This was stated in an interview with Synergy Media channel by a member of the Council for determining the political expediency of Iran, Seyed Mohammad Sadr, citing sources, Asriran reports.
"I have been informed that Russia has provided Israel with information about the location of Iran's air defense systems," Sadr said.
According to him, the June Iranian-Israeli armed conflict "demonstrated that a strategic alliance with Moscow is useless."
"For example, they (Russia.— EADaily) just said: "We are not happy that Israel attacked Iran"… The same Turkey is a member of NATO. What is NATO? She is against Russia. Russia has agreed to sell Turkey the S-400. But not to us. To us who have a strategic pact. The issue of buying Su-35 aircraft has been discussed for a long time, but they do not give us," Sadr complained.
This does not mean that Moscow and Tehran should not have relations, "we should have very serious relations, we are neighbors, but we cannot be trusted," he added.
